Accountable for five M1A1 Main Battle Tanks and associated equipment valued in excess of 15 million dollars.

Assigned as a Tank Platoon Sergeant in the most forwardly deployed Divisional Cavalry Squadron located only 6 kilometers from the North Korean border; Responsible for the training, tactical employment, professional development, health, welfare, morale, and discipline of 14 personnel. Accountable for 4 fully combat loaded M1A1 Main Battle Tanks and all associated assigned equipment valued in excess of 12 million dollars. Also assigned as the Unit Master Gunner and responsible for the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all crew-served weapons related training (individual, crew, and collective). Advise the commander of the tactical capabilities of all weapons and weapon systems. Managed gunnery records, GST records, turbulence rosters, and forecasted all ammunition for training and combat. Supervised live-fire ranges to ensure all standards are followed; Confirm screening and zero techniques, coordinated target arrays, exposure times for all targets, and maneuver box verification, and set up all ranges to make sure they meet all specifications and standards.
