Eric has a striving passion for finding the appropriate design within the correct environment while offering a positive, responsible and progressive energy towards a given design problem or project. His intrinsic awareness toward details, the quality of materials, construction methods and emotional connection to placemaking allow Eric to deliver sound design solutions. Eric values the utilization of ecologically responsible flora and is able to adapt his designs to achieve the optimal sustaining landscape. A trail blazer himself, Eric believes in behavioral landscapes that respond to their natural form and function within landscapes of permanence. Urban Design | Urban Ecology | Ecological Restoration | Landscape Construction | Arboriculture | Construction Administration | Permaculture | Urban Forestry | Streetscape and Public Realm Design Eric is an associate member of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) and prides himself with helping identify and connecting communities with their surrounding landscapes through education and conservation.When Eric is not looking up towards the urban forest, he enjoys his equally deep passion for upcycling and furniture design:) Over the past 10+ years Eric has discovered his talents in upcycling antique clawfoot bathtubs and converting them into beautiful, bespoke loveseats where people can grab a book or a cup of tea and curl up inside the cosy confines of an antique bathtub:) Eric continues to reach out into the upcycling communities to get involved in growing and educating fellow craftspeople to reduce and recycle the very objects around us!
