People are my thing! I love to learn about people, meet new folks, and share experiences. Since “retiring” from the maritime industry when COVID showed it ugly eyes, I decided to follow a dream of mine to sell it all, buy a rig, and break into the RV Resort industry. I figured if I enjoyed meeting and learning about people, that adding in the RV Resort aspect would be the cherry on top, and it was. I fell in love, instantly, with the industry. I am happy to be #2 at Bethpage Camp Resort in gorgeous Urbanna, VA. We are a mega resort with over 1200 beautiful sites. Included with mega size, we have mega amenities and a activities program like no other! Come visit me, always love to host my LinkedIn fam :) During the transition period, I expanded my skills immensely at Amazon as an L3 Shipping Clerk as well as obtaining my Illinois Real Estate License and selling around $2mm in homes to some amazing clients throughout 1.5 years. When the transition was complete, Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Crystal Beach was my new destination. I was lucky to be a part of the rebranding of the Resort from Bolivar Beach Club RV Resort to Camp Margaritaville along with opening Fins Bar and Grill, License 2 Chill pool bar, and implement procedures for the overall guest experience at the Resort. I managed the “camping/RV” side of the Resort, being the first face when the guests pull up to the waving of, not goodbye, but see you next time! Along with everything in between to ensure our guests were well taken care of and most importantly having an unforgettable time. That is my personal mission statement that I live by.The RV lifestyle and RV Resort industry amazes me and vow to stick to my mission, regardless of where I am at.Pre COVID career life - I was a deck officer and dynamic positioning operator that has gained a wealth of experience during 2012 to 2020 in various fields of the maritime industry. Everything from voyage planning to Mediterranean mooring (Med Moor) the vessel to the company safety management system, I have experience in . The past 5 years I have been on a survey vessel serving the entire world. That being said, I am very familiar with international ports and regulations. I am also very proficient in dynamic positioning systems having to use all of its functions to complete various survey, ROV, coring, and heavy lift operations.
