As a Tools Architect, I design software and services for teams to more securely develop and release their products. This includes designing an internal code signing solution, allowing product teams to securely sign their applications while minimizing Adobe's exposure of signing credentials. I also am designing an internal build process workflow that centralizes release engineering and provides a secure, auditable process for doing software builds while allowing scaling to several thousand builds per day. In addition to design, I also act as project lead and technical liason to teams across Adobe working to secure their build processes.

Managed a team responsible for three different projects: an internal build repository service designed and developed by my team; engineering and release of Creative Suites software; and development of a new licensing framework used in all Creative Suite applications. Worked with product teams and other core teams to ensure on time delivery of new software features. Acted as Scrum Master for various development teams using Scrum. Also piloted TSP as an alternative agile process.

I worked with teams across Adobe to help make their build and release processes more efficient, including designing and managing a development team to build an internal web service that tracks all builds across Adobe products, including dependencies and quality of each build. I was also responsible for development and release engineering for Adobe's Creative Suites, taking products from various teams across Adobe and integrating them into a cohesive installer.

As Release Engineer, I was responsible for daily builds for multiple Adobe products. This work included writing a new build system from scratch, providing for continuous as well as release builds, fixing build errors (including developer compile errors), developing an automated test framework for each product, and generally ensuring the steady flow of quality testable builds for each product.

Managed daily releases of Network Routing application software as well as custom NetBSD image. Developed remote make functionality that allowed developers to code on Solaris while seamlessly compiling on PowerPC machines. Managed source control system using Perforce.

Managed ClearCase source control system, including developer support and administration. Maintained nightly builds, including fixing errors, for Java based application software. Also responsible for development and maintenance of InstallAnywhere installer project.

As a member of Software Integration and Release group, I was responsible for managing daily builds of Nortel MTX software suite, including diagnosing of compile or dependency errors, and working with developers to resolve. I also worked as a ClearCase administrator for newer Nortel product teams, developing tools to assist devs with source control workflows, and running training classes for product teams.
