Schulze has spent 27 years as an administrator and coach in the junior club volleyball world. In 2017, he started United Sports, LLC which served as the holding company for VC United. Since that time, VC United has grown to over 80 teams with a dedicated 14 court facility and is considered to be one of the largest volleyball clubs, under one roof, in the country. In 2021, VC United was acquired by League One Volleyball (LOVB) and Schulze began collaborating with the unique start-up in the sports industry. In addition to his daily responsibilities as the Executive Director at VC United, Schulze helped LOVB expand its footprint in club volleyball with the formation of Madtown Juniors (Madison, WI), acquiring several clubs in the Midwest, and developing the Madtown Festival, a 132 team tournament in Madison, WI. In January 2024, Schulze accepted a position with LOVB as Director of Business Development.Prior to VC United, he held the position of General Manager at Club Fusion Volleyball, overseeing the day to day operations of one of the largest junior volleyball clubs in the country (at the time). In addition to his daily administrative responsibilities as General Manager at Club Fusion, Schulze also served as the Director of Coaching & Player Development, Lead Trainer for their National Program and was the longtime head coach of their highly successful 18 Black team. Coaching for nearly 26 years, Schulze has led numerous teams to Top 10 finishes in the 18 Open division at the AAU, JVA and USAV National Championships, including six Top 5 finishes. In his career, Schulze has trained over 230 NCAA Division I players that have received numerous accolades at both the high school and college level including coaching 12 future NCAA Division I All-Americans and 6 future professional players. In addition to his club experience, Schulze has coached in 11 international tours and 6 international tournaments at the U18 and U23 level.
