I started after graduation from high school as a cost analyst and time studier of jobs to find cost of the production of items we manufactured. I was then drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969. I was in the fire direction center in 8 inch self propelled artillery unit, Operated a computer called FADAC.I achieved the rank of Specialist 5th class. After being discharged I went to work on wall street were I worked in the option department. I was in charge of the Chicago Board of Options for Shearson and Hamell. I then took a job at the U.S. Postal Service. I was a letter carrier Supervisor and Postmaster during by career there. I have supervised operations which consisted of hundreds of people. I have worked in the retail and operational parts of the post office. I am retired now and drive a school bus now for Pender County N.C.
