Experienced trial attorney skilled in litigation and federal contracting. Eric currently works as a Senior Counsel with Husch Blackwell's Government Contracts Practice. He handles complex commercial disputes, bid protests, Fifth Amendment takings claims, international trade matters. Before joining Husch Blackwell, Eric worked in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., which is one of the most active litigating sections in the Department of Justice. He served as lead counsel for the United States in business cases nationwide filed in the Court of Federal Claims and the Court of International Trade, and he argued appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Eric also served as an Air Force JAG officer, both on active duty and in the Air Force Reserves. As a JAG, he gained extensive trial and litigation experience, both as a criminal prosecutor and as a commercial litigator before the United States Government Accountability Office and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. He also gained extensive experience in government contract fraud investigations, employment and labor law, and international law. Eric is a member of the Illinois Bar.
