Eric has over 20 years of experience designing and delivering high profile projects in the UK, US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Early in his career, having previously worked for KPF (New York & London) and PLP Architecture (London), Eric honed his skills working on a wide variety of project typologies including masterplans, retail, hotels, museums, schools, and residential majoring with a focus on complex large scale mixed use commercial projects internationally and in the UK. He originally qualified in architecture in the US and has led projects in the UK, US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. More recently during his time at Rolfe Judd, Eric expanded his commercial focus to include several office developments and sustainable re-use / refurbishment projects, with a focus on maximizing value by concentrating on market leading sustainability measures, wellness, amenity, and tenant experience. Eric has recently gained planning permission and completed the design for the refurbishment of four historic London office buildings including 88 Kingsway and 33 Kingsway in Holborn, 9 Cavendish Square in Marylebone and a beautiful Edwardian building at 1 Grafton Street in Mayfair. All four of the buildings are in conservation areas and all focus on the re-positioning of the existing buildings within the market through the upgrading or creation of new sustainable and flexible office space, market leading cycle and showering facilities, biodiverse roof terraces, elegant new reception areas and new tenant amenity spaces including tenant lounges, communal meeting suites, flexible workspace, and fitness areas.Eric has also lead and managed several medium to large scale residential developments including the Thornton Park in Clapham, London, a scheme which includes 350 residential units with new flexible commercial office space for local residents and a new public park. He has helped achieve planning approval for our Colosseum Retail Park scheme in Enfield which offers up to 1,800 new homes within new public streets and parks featuring retail and amenities for the residents and the local community. Eric was also the manager and co-director of a transformational masterplan project for a new 900-unit mixed-use residential scheme in Central Croydon across from the historic town hall, called Queen’s Square.Eric is LEED AP certified, is licensed in the UK and US and has gained his education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the US, the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Architectural Association (AA) here in the UK.
