Work with rep’s, designers and contractors to plan all major projects; responsible for all personnel except the company President; direct accounting practices and GL decisions; responsible for profit / loss and improving gross margins; assisted in the development of new product literature and a company web site; perform employment decisions and evaluations; supervise the costing and quotations on very large and national account projects; setup departments and personnel responsibilities; setup the quality control system used by production; developed an inventory control system; installed and implemented accounting and inventory control software, DBA software package; perform R&D and new product development; work with Underwriters Laboratories to get new products approved and maintain existing UL files; setup and performed photometric and thermal testing on fiber optics and light sources; updated an existing light source patent (increased output 35%) and currently filing a new light source design patent; invented the dual lens system for crisp edge down lights; involved in all company wide decisions; supervise production scheduling and project shipment dates; create drawings for manufactured parts and custom projects using AutoCAD 14; redesign existing products for manufacturing efficiency, cost and quality; assist sales reps as needed on large national account projects; traveled to solve problems in the field during and after installation of projects; work with vendors to assure quality and improve out-sourcing cost

Designed and oversaw the manufacture of two mold cleaning production lines for the Mexico expansion project; traveled to Mexico and oversaw the instaIlation of the quarter million dollar mold cleaning lines; designed new and improved existing components and processes at the Park Street facility including the UV cure process; worked on several projects related to the completion of the Mexico expansion project including facility layout and process flow between departments; worked on process automation and automation machinery projects at the Park Street facility
