Reported directly to a Senior Project Manager.• Coordinated with the owner/developer and the Architect/Engineer. • Strategized, developed, and managed critical path schedule. • Reviewed and executed contracts.• Reviewed and processed accounts payable and receivable. • Responsible for cost control of construction budget.**Office Engineer, December 1999 – July 2000• Construction of a commercial office building in San Diego, California totaling approximately 170,000 square feet. • Worked directly under a Project Engineer who was supervised by a Senior Project Manager. • Reviewed plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness. • Communicated with the architect/engineer. • Assisted in maintaining the critical path schedule. • Prepared bidding packages for use in obtaining subcontractor bids and awarding subcontracts. • Drafted subcontracts based on bidding results. • Prepared subcontractor and owner billings. **Field Engineer, January 1999 – November 1999• Construction of a commercial office building in San Diego, California totaling approximately 190,000 square feet. • Worked as a two person team directly under a Senior Project Superintendent. • Reviewed plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.• Communicated with the office staff regarding scheduling and timing of project buy-out. • Coordinated and oversaw subcontractors in the field. • Utilized surveying equipment to layout project construction and establish benchmarks for use in construction.

**Project Engineer/Project Coordinator, May 1996 – December 1998Managed Civil Engineering design projects ranging in design fees from $500 to $150,000. Oversaw and coordinated efforts of understudy EIT, design technician, and a draftsman. Accumulated design and management experience in: subdivisions, site development (grading, drainage, and detention pond layouts), water lines, sanitary sewer lines, storm sewer distribution systems, roadway construction, and flood studies. Responsible for generating construction drawings (including road profiles, road cross-sections, and utility profiles), quantity take-offs, and providing engineering estimates on a variety of project scopes. **Survey Party Crew Chief, May 1995 – April 1996Worked full time during summers and 35+ hours per week during school leading two and three man crews on boundary, topographic, and mapping surveys of farm, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Performed level loops and construction staking for roads, subdivisions, and municipal work. Utilized GPS (differential and static) equipment as well as a conventional EDM total station with data collector.
