I was born and raised in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and a Venezuelan mother, speaking Dutch and Spanish at home. At the age of 10, my family and I relocated to the United States.I went to high school at Breck in Golden Valley, MN, and attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics and a minor in Business Institutions. At NU, I was a 4-year student-athlete on the varsity men's soccer team while actively participating in various clubs.Upon graduating, I fulfilled my 5th year of NCAA eligibility on New York University's varsity men's soccer team. At NYU, I am pursuing a Master's of Science in Global Sport.My experience as a 5-year student-athlete was a character-defining chapter of my life, as I built upon my understanding of proper leadership, teamwork, and accountability. I look forward to applying these universally applicable lessons and the skill set I acquired from the experience to my future endeavors.Sports are a passion of mine. There are few things I love more than playing and watching soccer. But beyond that realm, I am also deeply passionate about staying informed on markets, industries, technology, and geopolitics.
