Job descriptionResponsible for providing technical support coverage during hours assigned.Assist in the retention of support contracts by offering superior customer support experience. Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance to system users.Provides basic technical assistance on hardware, software, and local-area network connectivity problems, including user access.Installs, administers, tests, and maintains client hardware, operating system, and software.Aids in customizing, upgrading, integrating, and testing hardware and software facilities for users.Coordinates with 24x7 Helpdesk for basic computer problems and priority customer requests.Technical Skills: Computer assembling and maintenance.Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.Knowledge of printer and cartage refilling.Configuring and troubleshooting desktops, laptops and serversFamiliar with hardware tools like servers, printers, VoIP, networking and telecommunications devicesExcellent troubleshooting skills in complex software and hardware problemsTroubleshooting of personal computers. On line Support to customers concerning their computer problemsConfiguring and troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook and Outlook express Thunderbird Windows Live Mail.Installing configuring administrating software applications.Preparing monthly work status report and updating technology specific documentsRedesign customers office copper and fiber cable plant for scalability.Basic Knowledge on Operating Systems Such as Windows 2000, Windows XP.
