As an engineer and as a leader, I am motivated by the people that I am fortunate to work with - customers, colleagues, partners and prospects. I believe in human capital, and I strive to center the experience of my colleagues and our customers every day.I joined Jamf as a Field Technician, and I started my career in technology on the ground: I traveled to customers across North America and Europe, working with everyone from small schools and federal institutions to tiny tech startups and Fortune 50 behemoths. I don't think I've ever learned so quickly - I was thrust into high-pressure situations and needed to adapt, improvise and move quickly to keep up. I wanted to learn even more.I joined the Client Engineering team and immediately became an embedded resource for some of the world's largest K-12 school districts, eventually broadening into commercial enterprise environments. I was able to build training and enablement routes for burgeoning technical leaders. I won rapport with my seasoned enterprise customers by focusing on empathy: their pain was my pain, and we would fix it together.Today, I manage the Customer Success Engineering team in AMER. I lead a team of incredibly talented engineers who help our customers succeed with Jamf's portfolio of Management, Identity and Security products. It is a constantly humbling experience to lead a group of people with such intelligence and capacity for empathy. In my personal life, I am an avid consumer of errata and minutiae - I love to accumulate knowledge about the world we live in and the people who occupy it. I am an eager but amateur hobbyist in the worlds of fashion, food, pop culture, and the arts - and I will always take time to hear about others' passions.
