Utilizing my past experience at Corteva, I played a pivotal role in implementing our shake flask model and thereafter using it to troubleshoot problems that have arisen on multiple occasions, including, but not limited to; reproducibility of cell banking, media-related detrimental impacts on production and seed train development for scale-up. Given the small team atmosphere with many problems to solve, our upstream team has had to effectively work across functions whether it be with the downstream processing, business applications or financial operations teams, in order to succeed in scaling up and obtaining funding.
