• In 2010, accepted the position of Associate Director of the Texas Analog Center of Excellence (TxACE). The research center will help create leading-edge analog technology for both traditional electronics and emerging.
• In 2008, chosen to lead the UTD portion of the SouthWest Academy for Nanoelectronics (SWAN), funded by the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) through The University of Texas at Austin, which involves 6 UT Dallas.
• Developed a research group consisting of approximately 8 PhD students, 1 technician, and 1 post-doc;

• The NIST Nanofab opened to NIST researchers in 2006 and in May 2007 became a national nanofabrication user facility for the NIST Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology.
