• Responsible for all technology needs of entire company.
• Administering a single 100 user Windows 2003 domain across 4 locations. This includes managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, deploying Group Policy, and managing an MS Exchange Server.
• Managing an MS SQL Server along with several Legal and Accounting Software packages. This includes setting up SQL Database Maintenance Schedules, writing simple reports using SQL or Crystal Reports, creating scripts to.
• Maintaining connectivity between multiple locations. This was done by creating Static Routes between point-to-point T1’s using Cisco 2600 Series routers and a VPN DSL link at a smaller branch using a Cisco PIX Firewall.
• Support remote access tools such as Terminal Services and Citrix Presentation Server.

• A large law firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA with over 500 users, in 80 locations spread across 8 states in the Southeast. Responsibilities include:
• Administered a 500-user domain spread across 80 locations in eight states. This included two domain controllers, one mail server (MS Exchange), two SQL servers (MS SQL 2000), four remote access terminal servers, and 14.
• Managed a Terminal Services Farm load balancing 10 servers
• Linked individual workstations to a local office LAN as well as a firm wide WAN via framed T1 or VPN DSL circuit.
• Acting as the second tier level of technical & application support when problems need to be escalated.
• Integrated another firm’s IT infrastructure into our infrastructure following a merger of another company into our company.

• Assist customers with various computer and network problems via the telephone and/or email.
• Create and run transaction and activity reports for customers as well as management.
• Administer proprietary software through a built in web interface as well as Transact SQL.
• Perform nightly backups and monitor the overall stability of the datacenter.
• Systems include: MS Windows NT 4.0 and 2000 server and workstation and MS SQL 7.0.

• Supported all data and satellite communications needs of the unit as a member of a five-man group.
• Managed two networks: one non-secure connected directly to the internet and one secure connected to the Department of Defense Siprnet used for classified message traffic.
• Setup satellite and radio equipment in order to pass data traffic from Marines on the ground to an offshore support fleet as well as strategic command in the U.S.
• Responsible for handling and storing cryptographic material used to scramble and decipher secure communications.
• Setup, monitored, and disassembled remote communications relay and support stations with minimal planning time in both training and real world operations.
• Systems included: MS Windows NT 4.0 and 2000 server and ws, MS Exchange 5.5, MS SQL 7.0, Cisco 2500 and 4000 series routers, and various proprietary equipment and software designed by the Department of Defense.
