About Eric Younkin

I have twelve years of experience in science and technology development with NOAA. I have developed several applications that are in use throughout our hydrographic survey teams, and are used in universities and other offices around the world. Most recently, Kluster (https://github.com/noaa-ocs-hydrography/kluster), which is one of only two real open-source multibeam data processing software systems that I know of. I strive to understand the mission of the organization at a deep level, so I can help drive my team to success. I enjoy teaching and instructing at a one-on-one level and in a classroom environment. My true passion is in creating tools that can solve problems and help people.
