-Complete all of the hiring and on-boarding for the store including job postings, filter of job applicants in ApplicantPool, telephone interviews, and 3 in-person interviews for every one open position each week.-Lead new hire orientation weekly and complete all new hire paperwork.-Perform daily timekeeping on over 100 employees and enforce attendance policies with each employee using KRONOS.-Use KRONOS for data entry and reporting including, but not limited to, employee schedules, leave cases, Food Handler’s and OLCC certifications, and personnel information.-Process leave paperwork including all FMLA, ADA, and Worker’s Compensation cases.-Ensure the enforcement of all federal and state labor laws.-Serve as chair of the store Safety Committee and ensure OSHA compliance.-Work closely with Corporate Human Resources on store hiring, FMLA/ADA/Worker’s Compensation cases, employee performance management, and employee interactive processes.

-Full understanding of all Tan Republic daily operational procedures -Mentor and train new hires on store procedures and Sunlync software-Monitor employee sales-Report any maintenance, inventory, customer, or employee issues or discrepancies-Review client forms with great attention to detail and ensure employees are following proper standards in filing and protecting sensitive client information-Provide a higher level of customer service to exceed customer expectations and maintain client base

-Build relationships with clients offering them products and packages to enhance their tanning experience.-Ensure our two store locations are abiding by all state laws that regulate tanning including length of time exposed to UV, using protective eyewear, and cleanliness.-Extreme attention to detail in cleanliness and hygiene standards.-Handle daily cash deposits and sales reporting.-Utilize and fully understand Sunlync software unique to the tanning industry.-Have full knowledge on UV rays, skin types, supplemental tanning products, and all elements crucial to client safety during tanning.

-Nominated store Culture Ambassador: To create an exceptional workplace experience for employees, promote team development and connection, and understand the link between employee experience and the ability to exceed store and company goals. -Deliver an engaging Verizon Wireless customer experience by anticipating their needs and building connection.-Serve as the store help desk and assist with device and account troubleshooting. -Deliver the ultimate one-on-one coaching experience to customers after the sales process to setup devices and demonstrate product and accessory use.-Facilitate weekly workshops to demonstrate and educate customers on technology solutions including the latest and greatest smartphones, tablets and smart accessories.-Contribute to the overall health and performance of the retail store by supporting daily business operations, including selling technology solutions, stocking inventory, and processing customer transactions.-Perform quarterly inventory.

-Provide advisement to students on resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and career development. -Facilitate and disseminate engaging presentations to the Oregon State community. -Assist in the marketing of and participation in Career Services events. -Develop ideas for Oregon State campus outreach.-Print table tents and name badges for over 100 employers involved in Oregon State University Career Fairs 3 times a year. From 2013-2014:-Mentor incoming Career Assistants on procedures and responsibilities.-Elected Outreach Assistant in charge of delegating and scheduling all campus presentations to Career Assistants.-Train and mentor incoming Career Assistants on public speaking and effective presentation skills.-Serve as front desk receptionist during time of transition, handling all phone calls, appointment scheduling and check-in, payment processing, and customer service regarding all Career Services resources and information.
