I am a Certified Professional Photographer who focuses on building empowerment and self-confidence for women. While I shoot several genres of photography, my focus is on Artistic Portraiture and Boudoir. As a USMC Veteran, I am also very proud of the Forever In My Heart program I created. I know what it is like to be deployed, leaving behind loved ones, and how important it is to be reminded about what is waiting back home. While this program was initially created for military members, I understand how this can also be relevant for anyone in a long-distance relationship.Since I first desired to be a photographer more than 40 years ago, I wanted to make a difference in this world by using photography to empower women. I want to show them that it doesn't matter what society or anyone else thinks. All that matters is what they feel about themselves. I aim to help women see a version of themselves they may have never seen before. I want to show them how the world sees them, not how they see themselves. What matters is that my clients realize that out of 8 billion other people on this rock we call Earth, there is only one of them, and they know they are rocking it!Society can poison anyone by convincing them they need to focus on what it calls flaws and the need to fix them instead of accepting who they are. Today's perspective on bodies, crafted by marketing companies and Social Media, along with the accepted behavior that it's better to tear someone down than build them up, has serious adverse effects. Not only does this jeopardize our health and happiness, but it also makes us feel like we're trapped in a world that doesn't want us.An excellent way to counteract this and build self-esteem and confidence is through a photography session crafted especially for you. The experience can be life-changing, and the photographs created allow you to step back and see yourself as everyone else does rather than the internal image you've created and believe others see.
