Eric played a critical role in the growth, realignment and ultimate separation of Cendant in 2006 into four separate companies: Travelport, Realogy, Wyndham Worldwide and Avis Budget Group. During Cendant’s acquisitive growth period, he managed the legal aspects of all of Cendant’s acquisitions, including Galileo International, Orbitz Worldwide, Cheap Tickets, GTA, Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental and Trendwest as well as numerous tuck-in acquisitions. Eric also played an integral role in Cendant’s strategic realignment in 1999, under which eighteen non-core businesses were divested and more than $4.5 billion of proceeds were generated.
