I am a financial advisor with Raymond James in Omaha, Nebraska, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. I have partnered with my first cousin, Steven Gustafson, who has been an advisor since 1994. I believe the cornerstone of a successful client/advisor relationship is the mutual trust and respect that develops over time, and I am deeply committed to helping my clients pursue their long-term financial goals. I do this through a comprehensive approach to wealth management, retirement and estate planning, using IRAs, 401(k)s, company retirement plans, trust accounts and more. I work with a variety of clients, from those who have achieved their goal of retirement, to business owners, widows, families and young professionals. I tailor each investment portfolio and client experience to the individual needs of that client because I do not believe that one size fits all. I work diligently to assist my clients with a high level of service and the intention of being their trusted wealth advisor for life.I have chosen to move to Raymond James, one of the largest independent financial services firms in the nation, a company I deeply respect for their ethics, impressive technology and client first approach. Prior to coming to Raymond James, I began my career in financial services in 2007, working at American Funds for eight years before joining Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2015. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University of San Marcos. I continued to further my professional education, earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification by submitting to the rigorous certification process that includes intensive education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.Originally from Southern California, in 2015 I moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where I am active in the community as a volunteer for organizations such as United Way and my local church. I am a member of the Financial Planning Association and serve on an advisory board for the mayor of Omaha. My wife, Jessica and I have 3 children, Lily, Grant and Chloe. When not working I enjoy family time, traveling, Nebraska football, running, craft beer/wine tastings and competing in triathlons.Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™, CFP Logo Flame Design and CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
