I created a Tableau dashboard that graphically shows US Cellular's roaming usage on other networks. The dashboard also contains exception reporting indication errant customer usage on US Cellular's network.I have designed and created Visual Basic and Visual Basic Application programs that reduce the workload of the accessory replenishment team by 50% and show cost savings on accessory shipping. The tools that I have created help automate the process of determining what accessories need to be sent to stores and what is the cheapest way to get them there.I also conduct ad-hoc reporting for marketing within areas such as net subscriber additions and defections, promotion take rate, and cohort demographic research.

I was responsible for gathering the requirements to create a tool for the revenue management department. I created and maintained a website using C# MVC .NET for interdepartmental use. The website contained custom tools such as: Targeted Communication Email Tool - Allowed the revenue manager to create email batches with attachments and customized messages to send directly to hotels.Contacts Database - Stored all contacts for the department in one database where the team members could update, add, or delete contacts.Three Pillar Scorecard - Generated an excel workbook contained hotel specific information which is queried for an SQL Server database. The workbook was then attached to an email and sent to hotel management.

I used problems solving and data analysis to research anomalies found in Verizon's network. Once the anomalies were discovered I conducted root cause analysis using SQL in Oracle and Teradata databases to determine the origin of the anomalies.At Verizon, I also had the opportunity to create a reconciliation process that audited the device payment record flow from point of sale to billing. This new process reduced the number of discrepancies between billing and point of sale systems by 75% and was still uncovering new issues.I created custom reports for leadership using SQL. The reports included KPIs, network issues/exceptions reporting, and ad-hoc reporting. These reports were then scheduled to automatically run on a quarterly basis.Personally managed network records in a Hadoop cluster. I wrote scripts using Bash, Python, and Hive SQL to scripts to ingest data used by the revenue assurance department for research.Taught eight contractors how to perform day to day responsibilities of an analyst at Verizon. Instructed the contractors on how to conduct investigative research on network anomalies. While training the contractor I also updated our documentation for knowledge management within the department. Documentation was then used in the future for on-boarding and training purposes.

At Red Roof Inn I created custom python scripts to automate report packet creation. Report packets are a snapshot of a hotel performance including things such as trip advisor scores and year over year metrics. The program I created reduced the majority of the manual effort needed to create these packets and overall had a 90% time-saving.I also worked with the Revenue Management team to analyze and create reports dealing with occupancy, average daily rate and revenue per available room to maximize hotel revenue. My analysis and reporting were used to maximize hotel revenue.
