Learning Design Leader for Mortgage Special Projects

• Developed and managed a team of 14 based across the country responsible for Onboarding as well as ongoing coaching, learning and support for new Retail Sales Mortgage Consultants (MCs).
• Facilitated the program design and rollout with 30 team members from 12 cross functional departments to create a best in class Onboarding program
• Led the Onboarding Steering Committee charged with identifying, evaluate and implementing ongoing opportunities for enhancement of recruiting and onboarding process
• During the 3½ years since inception of the program, the team oversaw the Onboarding and training of nearly 3,000 new MCs and 500 transitioned MCs through merger work which originated $4 billion in volume
• Managed corporate relationships that played critical roles in the Onboarding Program: Recruiting, Training, Technology, Travel, Finance, Marketing and Vendor/Service Providers
• Developed and distributed curriculum on sales behaviors and tactical skills by hosting weekly classes, outbound learning calls and inbound assistance calls for 400+ MCs on a rolling basis Key Projects: Wachovia.

• Managed a team responsible for Corporate Communications, Event / Trade Show Planning, Sales Development, Employee Recognition, Training Liaison and Special Projects.
• Responsible for communications within Wachovia Mortgage and affiliated business units, including speech writing, copy write for customer communications, internal presentations, quarterly television broadcast and.
• Responsible for planning all aspects of functions and trade shows for all business channels of Wachovia Mortgage to include annual Sales Conference for 350 associates, Mid-Year sales recognition event for 100.
• Partnered with Community Development, Marketing and Fannie Mae to plan and execute Multi-Cultural events throughout the Wachovia Retail footprint – approximately 10 events annually for 750 total clients

Responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and maintaining a regular cycle of training events covering basic mortgage skills, customer and sales development, underwriting skills, special lending programs, and technical skills for the use of an automated origination and underwriting platform.
