I have over 25 years of experience designing and developing solutions for clients in both the commercial and federal sectors. My work includes everything from writing and production for television and radio to developing interfaces for large-scale applications. In my current work as a Solution Architect for Booz Allen, I focus on creating digital services solutions for government customers that foster usability, accessibility and data-driven improvements. While my expertise centers around both user-centered visual design and front-end development, my broad experience working in teams and directly with clients includes almost all aspects of UX: user and stakeholder research/discovery, content strategy, information architecture, developing interactive prototypes, usability testing, integrating UX with development workflows, and writing & managing client deliverables. I take an active role in business development, too: meeting with prospective clients, developing holistic solutions, and writing technical proposals or solicitations. My understanding also goes well beyond UX, with a firm grasp of DevOps and Cloud methodologies, and how they interact with the UX side of the house to help foster continuous, integrated delivery.My client experience includes BP, United Airlines, Bristol-Myers Squibb, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, National Institutes of Health and National Science Foundation.
