Hi! Before we dig in, if you want to pitch me your book project, please visit my agency's website for submission guidelines. Thanks!Okay. So, me? I'm an author and literary agent living and making books in Philadelphia. Most days you can find me working with authors I adore, fussing over my own writing when I can, and teaching the occasional college course.Life is good. I love working with people, making new connections, and helping stories get told.Some of my recent books include Don't Read the Comments (a YALSA 2021 Best Fiction for Young Adult selection), You Can Go Your Own Way, and Battle of the Bands, an anthology co-edited with award-winning author Lauren Gibaldi. My latest novel, Jagged Little Pill: The Novel, is an adaptation of the award-winning Broadway musical, written in collaboration with Alanis Morissette, Academy award-winner Diablo Cody, and Glen Ballard. No, I can't believe it either. A number of my short stories and essays have been published or are forthcoming in anthologies with Flux, Soho Teen, Algonquin, DK, Inkyard, HarperCollins, and more.I'm always looking for chances to connect to people in the book world and help new writers out.
