Eric joined HelmsBriscoe after a very successful eighteen year career in the hospitality industy. After earning a M.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University, Eric began his career with the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1993. Eric then moved to focus on hotel sales with major hotel chains including Crowne Plaza, Radisson, Doubletree and Hilton and Starwood. Eric has held positions as Senior Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Director of Group Sales. A longtime member of the Sunbelt Chapter of MPI, Eric served on the Board of Directors as VP of Finance. He has also served as VP of Finance for SITE Texas. Other industry activities affiliations have included ASAE, RCMA and PCMA. He has been recognized for his efforts including the Hilton Circle of Excellence, HelmsBriscoe Sales Person of the Year, MPI Rising Star, and MPI Supplier of the Year.Eric is known for his creativity, contract knowledge, negotiation skills and extraordinary relationships with his clients. He attributes this to his active role in, and his passion for, the hospitality industry and offering legendary service to his clients. Eric enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for snow skiing.
