About Erika Josefsson
International lawyer based in Barcelona, Spain. Originally from Sweden, where I did my Bachelor’s in Law at Lund University. I then went on to do an exchange semester at Universidad de Buenos Aires, before relocating to Barcelona where I took a LL.M in Global and European Law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.During my studies I have been active in the European Law Students’ Association and connected with law students from all over Europe, as well as represented ELSA at sessions on international law of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and UNCITRAL in New York.Having lived in three different countries, I have a deep interest for international law and thrive in environments where I am presented with new perspectives. I have extensive experience in conducting legal research in various jurisdictions and seek to apply my broad legal knowledge in a globalized world. I currently work at AirHelp, a world’s leading air passenger rights advocate and flight delay compensation company, as part of the Legal Strategy Team. Predominantly with a focus on investigating and assessing new potential markets beyond Europe, but also supporting operations in our current established jurisdictions.I am multilingual and speak English, Spanish and Swedish with full proficiency as well as intermediate Catalan and French.
