A little about me...I am going to be completely honest........It has been a while since I have been happy as I have always put myself last and failed to put energy into the things that make myself whole.......thus leaving me feel like I have wasted time and "just trying to hold on".That is a terrible mindset that's not unique to me,.....and I'm done. It's time. It's time to blossom. It's time to create my opus. I went to school for graphic design, had the corporate job, got married, had 2 kids and two dogs. Free creative time disappeared behind cooking, cleaning, yard work and day to day management of life. I left my corporate job after 21 years to become a stay-at-home dad and after that, my eyes reopened. Being with my kids and their lust for coloring. I regained my desire to create by pencil, pen, and paint. So here we are, bursts of time into my creative process and this is what I have.My subject matter reflects the youthful environment I am immersed in. These paintings need to be quick as I may need to referee a match between my 3 young kids. or tend to the burning bacon on the stove. Quick and fun is what I have strived for in an attempt to churn things out.Hope you like what you see. If anything, you know a little more about what's in the picture you see before you.- Erik
