As one of the student sustainability interns at Gustavus Adolphus College, I work on projects to improve the sustainability of the campus. Projects include awareness about sustainability, giving solar panel tours, and working at the campus greenhouse and composter. I also work towards maintaining existing projects, including the Gusties on the Go bike share program.

I conducted independent research with the Chemistry and Environmental Studies departments. I worked towards completing a mass balance of lead in an ombrotrophic bog in northern Minnesota. I conducted both field and lab work throughout the experience.

In the fall of 2014 and 2015, I worked for the Environmental Studies and Geology departments as a teaching assistant for the course Geochemistry of the Environment. I prepared lab materials, assisted during labs, graded assignments, and held office hours.

During the summers of 2014 and 2015 I worked at a small swim club, coaching the swim team, teaching swim lessons, and lifeguarding.
