I have been employed with the Department of Children and Families as a Social Worker for 14 years prior to working in the Education sector. I have an interest in Trauma and Resilience, working on a Nationwide project to improve Foster Care stability with the Department of Children and Families. I was hired as the Adjustment Counselor for the Leominster Center for Excellence, helping to build a new education opportunity for students to complete their secondary education. In my current role as a Guidance Counselor at Worcester Technical High School, I am co-coordinator of the Early College Program at WTHS. I passionate about helping students seek new opportunities and realize their full potential. My passion for connecting people to opportunities grew to teaching for Quinsigamond Community College and working with ESOL adults, helping them to assimilate and connect to their community and educational opportunities.
