Momo's Market is a small grocery located in Burlington's Old North End. Momo's brings the best local food and drink to the neighborhood.

As the Business Development Associate, I was responsible for tracking RFPs and other responsive business development opportunities, moving opportunities into the internal decision making process, and preparing and finalizing proposals. I performed market research and analysis for all four business units including market potential, scenario planning, cost-analysis, due diligence for potential partnerships, and competitive landscape analysis. In my role as Business Development Associate, I was a project manager for a State Energy Program grant from the Department of Energy (DOE). In 2011, VEIC won a $1M grant from the DOE to establish a program including a loan pool to finance commercial energy efficiency retrofits leveraging QECBs and private capital. The goal of the program is to increase commercial investments in energy efficiency improvements. As project manager, I facilitated team meetings, created quarterly reports, established the budget, tracked the budget, and ensured that the team met scheduled goals.In October 2011, I arrived at VEIC to fill the role of the Sustainability Assistant and was responsible for the VEIC 2010 and 2011 GHG inventory including multiple locations in Vermont, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, and the District of Columbia. Additionally, I worked on two internal sustainability initiatives including the employee Sustainable Energy Investment benefit and the 4M team. The Sustainable Energy Investment benefit is for employees to invest in technologies and products that reduce their individual household GHG footprint. The 4M team was appointed by the Executive Director and tasked with calculating the positive GHG impact of all of VEIC's activities. Essentially, asking the question, "What is the impact of our work as determined by a decrease in GHG emissions?"

As a Graduate Teaching Fellow for the Community Service Center, I supported the Resource Assistance for Rural Environments (RARE) AmeriCorps program. Specifically, I was responsible for participant recruitment. In order to achieve its mission of building capacity in rural Oregon, the program recruits top graduate-level professionals from across the country. As head of recruitment, I replaced the website content with new, fresh language, clearly articulated the ideal applicant, and developed and implemented a digital strategy to better tell the story of RARE by building community and content.
