Being a creative design intern at Premier Yarns gave me the opportunity to design and create six new knitwear designs and patterns. These patterns are now featured on their website in a lookbook titled Fusion. Through this role, I developed technical writing skills and a greater understanding of the design process. Working closely with the design team on a daily basis and attending frequent team meetings I fostered strong teamwork skills. I also took it upon myself to improve the efficiency of the design studio by labeling, weighing, and organizing knitwear and pattern samples.
