The Mustard Seed seeks to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of adults with developmental disabilities by providing a loving and protected Christian community with meaningful activities that allow the participants to fulfill the potential that God has created within them.

As the Associate Editor for Hometown Magazines, a Mississippi-based publishing company composed of five different publications, my main duties involved composing and compiling content for the following magazines:-Hometown Madison Magazine (bimonthly)-Hometown Rankin Magazine (bimonthly)-Hometown Clinton Magazine (quarterly)-Hometown Brandon Magazine.

As a full-time part of the WellnessWorks! staff I design the layout and write the content for our monthly company WellnessWorks! newsletter. I also organize on-site employee fitness classes, teach yoga at fitness classes, help coordinate wellness incentives, help plan our Lesson at Lunch program and topics as well as administer our company-wide Lean in 13.

As a street marketer for Mississippi's youth-led anti-tobacco movement, GenerationFREE, I effectively use marketing strategies to target youth and encourage them to take an anti-tobacco stance. I also assist with all event set up and break down.

As a health columnist for the Mississippi College Collegian newspaper I wrote weekly health articles for students.

As an intern at The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi I helped create public relations spotlights with the Communications Director as well as managed social media outlets. I helped assist RAT and GenerationFREE Coordinators with events and camps as well as attended the Southern Obesity Summit as a Mississippi youth delegate.
