My role extends beyond logistical coordination, encompassing hands-on support in navigating our travel booking system… Show more In my current role, I foster connection and enhance employee experience to promote a Foolish (capital F only!), collaborative, and supportive environment.I organize team gatherings, blending both on-site visits and offsites for employees visiting our Alexandria, VA office. Between April and August 2024, I will have successfully planned and executed eight team gatherings. My role extends beyond logistical coordination, encompassing hands-on support in navigating our travel booking system and addressing travel-related questions.In 2023, I created and launched the Jesters program. An internal program that provides remote employees the opportunity to organize small-scale, in-person activities in their city to improve employee connection. I make an informed decision on the monthly budge, provide support, and empower Jesters, the lead organizer of each location.In addition to organizing in-person team gatherings, I provide personalized assistance to teams in planning and executing their team-building strategy. Managing team-building budgets, I ensure affordable spending without compromising on the quality of experiences. After said events, I track participation using our data tracking software, leveraging insights to improve performance.I also take part in distributing employee birthday, moving, new baby, wedding, and spontaneous just-because gifts; handling onboarding and offboarding responsibilities for both new hires and current staff; crafting thoughtful communications for Slack posts on upcoming events and topics relevant to employee experience; And above all, I prioritize being a supportive, empathetic ear to all employees.
