I have spent nearly 20 years working to close the opportunity gap in historically disenfranchised communities, first as a teacher through Teach For America and now leading the external relationships team for a national organization specializing in school leadership development. As the Vice President of Partnerships, I am responsible for facilitating mission-aligned expansion efforts and partnerships with schools, districts, funders, and other organizations across the country as well as leading the Accelerate Institute Community (alumni) engagement strategy. I also work to ensure Accelerate Institute’s voice is clear, recognized, and trusted through my work leading our marketing strategy. I truly thrive in building connections and relationships with educators, education leaders, and others passionate about educational equity.
