I was on secondment to PwC UK as a Senior Manager in the One Assurance team in Bristol, England for two years. During this time, I worked on a number of audit and non-audit engagements for both public and private clients across various industries, including utilities, manufacturing, media and public services. I supported my clients through a number of transactions and activities, including listed (public) company acquisitions, GAAP conversions and control assessments and implementations.

My primary focus is serving audit and non-audit clients, both public and private, across a variety of industries within the consumer and industrial products and services sector, as well as power and utilities companies. I work closely with my clients to address complex matters, including technical accounting and SEC reporting issues, Sarbanes Oxley section 404 internal controls considerations, and business impacts of acquisitions and divestitures. On my client engagements, I am responsible for developing and reviewing audit programs by analyzing the risk of the engagement, supervising and coaching staff, reviewing audit documentation, and performing project management activities, including monitoring and reporting on engagement progress and economics. I provide valuable guidance assessing design effectiveness and recommendations on internal controls, reviewing financial statement and disclosure presentation, researching and collaborating with clients on technical accounting and financial reporting issues, and presenting to audit committees and senior management members. I have demonstrated a deep range in dealing with a variety of technical accounting and reporting topics, including segment reporting, business combinations, goodwill impairments, contract accounting, debt modifications and extinguishments, cash flow statements, and revenue recognition. I document and review technical accounting and audit approach memorandums in the course of these engagements. I directly interact with our National office and chief auditor network on both formal and informal consultations.
