As Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the College of Engineering, I build cross sector partnerships that create community impact through collaboration. Recently recognized with a Star Award from University Advancement. My work connects academia and industry in cutting edge research opportunities that results in reciprocal learning outcomes. I work with students, faculty, corporate, and philanthropic partners with new ideas in technology, manufacturing, design, materials, and systems that are changing our world in ways that are big and small.I lead a team of relationship managers aimed at creating partnerships across the public and private sectors. Our work spans ten departments, forging relationships across the entire College of Engineering. My oversight includes industry sponsored capstones, philanthropy, contracted research, and the engineering career center. I also serve as a University Advancement Mentor and am a member of our corporate Equity Task Force.I also help lead the creation of new interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives that span multiple colleges and across the University of Washington.Each day brings new challenges to solve that require an engineering mindset!

I serve as a board member with Parkview Services which provides housing counseling for people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Parkview, also, provides inclusive mortgage default counseling for anyone living in Washington State. The inclusion of individuals and families with I/DD into communities in Washington has been Parkview Services' primary mission since 1968. I’m also proud to have been a counselor at Parkview’s Group Home when I was in grad school over 20 years ago.
