As Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the College of Engineering, I build cross sector partnerships that create community impact through collaboration. Recently recognized with a Star Award from University Advancement. My work connects academia and industry in cutting edge research opportunities that results in reciprocal learning outcomes. I work with students, faculty, corporate, and philanthropic partners with new ideas in technology, manufacturing, design, materials, and systems that are changing our world in ways that are big and small.I lead a team of relationship managers aimed at creating partnerships across the public and private sectors. Our work spans ten departments, forging relationships across the entire College of Engineering. My oversight includes industry sponsored capstones, philanthropy, contracted research, and the engineering career center. I also serve as a University Advancement Mentor and am a member of our corporate Equity Task Force.I also help lead the creation of new interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives that span multiple colleges and across the University of Washington.Each day brings new challenges to solve that require an engineering mindset!

I serve as a board member with Parkview Services which provides housing counseling for people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Parkview, also, provides inclusive mortgage default counseling for anyone living in Washington State. The inclusion of individuals and families with I/DD into communities in Washington has been Parkview Services' primary mission since 1968. I’m also proud to have been a counselor at Parkview’s Group Home when I was in grad school over 20 years ago.

As a member of the executive leadership team, I have supported systemic operational expansion that doubled our talent and infrastructure. I have led marketing, brand, and strategy resulting in major growth: budget tripled & assets grew 10X in under 5 years. I had a pivotal role in establishing 6 innovative, public-private partnerships with multinational pharmaceutical companies saving 35,000 patient lives annually. Most recently, I initiated a recognition framework for 25+ corporate partners, incentivizing revenue growth. In addition, I instituted a marketing funnel that doubled our donor database while increasing retention by 74% and individual giving by 10%. All in all, building the foundation of the future!

I've executed an overhaul of our core service delivery model resulting in significant growth. I drove our rebrand, increasing web traffic by 30%. I brought in new business, yielding 5 public-private partnerships and $500K in sustainable funding annually.

As director, I led our advocacy strategy with 70+ program partners and headed communications. I developed marketing campaigns reaching 20K+ globally. I designed conferences, established grant opportunities, and enabled capacity building for 500+ leaders in low resource settings. I expanded operations and enabled sustainable corporate fundraising.

As department head, I led a team of 25 global advocates and strengthened systems, program evaluation, corporate fundraising, and global communications. I launched a high-tech tracking systems for multi-stakeholders with 200 data-points and created trainings. Plus, I managed a network of 70+ partnering patient associations across 60 low and middle income countries.

As manager, I spearheaded 5+ annual global cancer initiatives in 50+ emerging markets across digital platforms, including the management of a blog for 10K+ recipients. I headed our international helpline for free support, education and advocacy services to thousands of families in low-resource settings.

When I was regional lead managing an innovative global patient assistance program, I helped 25K+ cancer patients in emerging markets get treatment access. I worked on a geo-dispersed multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care through our real-time database. Leading our global helpline, I used my social work skills for crisis management, privacy, and counseling.

I served as a child-centered direct practice advocate and social worker for 100+ families through the international adoption process within the Russia Program. I conducted home studies to assess families, and provided crisis counseling. I assisted families with skill building, cultural responsiveness, and practical support on a multi-disciplinary team across time zones.
