Tier three IT support for the needs of the City Clerk, Court, Law and Parks departments, for the City of Kent. Currently focusing on the administration of the city’s Laserfiche and LawBase systems, as well as network wide package development and deployments utilizing Microsoft’s Configuration Manager. Frequently called upon to assess customers’ needs and to promptly design, develop and deploy efficient and effective solutions. Day to day operations include analyzing technical systems and determining best processes and practices for their operation, while apprising the customer of the status of the systems as well as any updates, describing technical aspects in an easily understandable manner.Previously retired as a Police Detective, where I was assigned as the police department's lead Digital Forensics Examiner. I specialize in network environment, computer and mobile forensics, including the use of the JTAG, flasher box, bootloader, ISP and chip off forensic techniques as well as surveillance video collection. I was responsible for building and maintaining forensic equipment as well as an isolated forensic network environment. I had served as a member of the United States Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force (formally Electronic Crimes Task Force) since 2011.I also specialized in crime scene investigations, including photography, field identification of evidence including blood and ballistic evidence, total station, 3D laser mapping, UAV photogrammetry, evidence collection and National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) acquisitions. My duties had included mentoring and instructing of forensic personnel in both digital forensics and crime scene forensics.During my time in forensics I held the IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) and the IAI Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst (CSCSA) certifications, among others.
