    Responsible for the direction of both the inside and outside sales groups. Directed five outside sales people and seven inside sales people. Worked with both groups to refine their sales approach and help them put together target lists, to develop their pipeline of revenue. Traveled with each of the outside sales people to help teach and lead them in developing a skill set that would allow the representative to close more accounts and strengthen their cold call skills. Managed key accounts, while also trying to establish new business outside of our core market. Attended numerous industry shows, and displaying at design to build shows, to foster relationships with potential new customers outside of our main focus of business. During this time was able to land 5 new accounts representing $2.5 million of new business for the company.Managed a territory that had a budget of $6 million for 2006. At the end of 2008 the territory had grown to $11 million in actual sales. During this time opened a distribution center in Dallas, Texas that I did the market research, and business plan that I presented to senior management for approval. The distribution center was opened at the end of 2006. From the opening in 2006 to the end of 2008 was able to land 21 new accounts that have represented $20 million of sales during this time. I accomplished this by researching the area for potential accounts and setting appoints, while presenting the value proposition that my company had to offer in furthering the accounts sales and inventory control, while reducing inventory caring cost.
