Brocacef has acquire a substantial part of the Mediq operation in the Netherlands. Basis for the acquisition is the opportunity to gain significant synergies. Working as external project manager (both in Business and IT) on a number of projects (6) that need to be implemented asap in order to gain these synergies. The first project was accomplished very successfully last year, the most important one (migrating a substantial number of customers) has just started. Merging the two organizations imposes significant impact on the projects and requires strong change management skills and well as in-depth Business and IT knowledge. Motivating people and gaining their trust is key to success.

Support the AVR organisation with their IT transition project

Acqyre is a global start-up of the Fluor corporation (number 109 in the Fortune 500). The goal of this start-up is to develop new types of services to support the purchasing process in the market for capital-intensive projects. Through two paths: the most important is to develop a supplier information platform in which suppliers can register their company and products (this based on approximately 400 questions). Buyers (initially of Fluor, but also later in the time of other companies that deal with complex purchasing processes) can access the platform to find suppliers and get background information on their capabilities, turnover and experience of their performance on projects. Often involved are highly regulated industries, whereby the vendor choice (anywhere in the world) is restricted by many rules. Biggest challenges in this project are the mapping of all relevant questions, the legal frameworks (privacy, compliance, export control), the cash flows (receiving payments from all countries and handling them) and obviously the implementation on a global scale. The second activity is to act as an intermediary between companies on low cost countries and the Western market so that Acqyre acts as the sole supplier for the end customer with all the obligations that this entails. This company was established in Netherlands in terms of management because of tax benefits, the execution takes place in Cebu in the Philippines. We have begun with the third activity: the total replacement of an in-house developed application for material management through a combination of standard packages, starting with a complete overhaul of the information architecture with the focus of developing globally reusable components and standard solutions within engineering and project management.Unfortunately Fluor management decided to close the company

Working as a Project Manager / Business Consultant for a number of projects: - Upgrade Financial Studio (main financial data-warehouse, SOX level 1) for statutory and managerial reporting- Building interface to Corporate Treasury for interest-risk management- Renew interface to external party handling mortgages including functional analysis in order to build a new datamart for mortgage information- Upgrading Risk Datamart- Implementation Collateral management Solution (from RFI to implementation) based on the Provenir platform- Upgrade hardware/os/db software (p-series,AIX,Oracle) for share trading system

Develop and implement policies in the field of computerization of Imtech. Direct report to the Executive Board (CFO).Main tasks:- Development of an international governing body for the field of Information Management, IT and Information Security- Developing a Corporate Enterprise Architecture- The development of policy in the field of standardization of hardware and software- Designing, developing and maintaining international contracts with various vendors (IBM, Microsoft (both office environment as ERP environment (Navision)), Vodafone, Verizon, KPN etc.), these contracts had a spent of approximately 13-15 million worldwide- The execution of program management (own budget 2.4 million Euro, logical ruling 20 million Euro)- The control of decision making and implementation of a Shared Service Centre ICT (Q1 2010 40 FTE)- Corporate Security Officer (same tasks: setting policies, implementing organization, managing organization)- Support activities Governing Council / Executive Council for the translation of business requirements into IT solutions. One such project is the choice of a new standardized ERP environment for Imtech based on Microsoft Navision technology.- Perform IT- audits of potential acquisitions with the aim to identify how ICT was organized, strengths and weaknesses, identify risks and indicate at what cost to the organization within the ICT environment of Imtech could be brought- Responsible for handling audits of software vendors (including IBM, Microsoft, Oracle), possibly with external auditors- Managing the average of 5-10 employees (2 own employees)

Line responsible for a group of 50 own staff, 20 externals.Main tasks: -Technical realization of approved projects through appropriate (functional) analysis, proper staffing, tight project management and technology choice. - Responsible for all personnel matters including hiring technical staff. - Support commerce in winning contracts, both strategically and in pre-sales related.Goal Achievement: the company was at PAC acquisition by Imtech 163 people large and well known in the market in the medium-sized and large companies. My business unit was the size of 50 professionals with a turnover of more than 8 million, net return on average 9%.
