Effectively led and managed a team of art directors, graphic designers, layout designers and freelance designers on Taste of Home magazine, Simple & Delicious magazine, Country Woman magazine, Birds & Blooms Magazine, Country Magazine and Reminisce Magazine branded book, Special Interest Publications and Newsstand products. Collaborated with photography studio teams, production and marketing teams and external marketing partners to deliver compelling content for print & digital products.Refocused the priorities of a historically print business into a digital-first approach, shifting the needs for content development on all branded products. Implemented a content development plan for all Book and Newsstand products to capture photography to be utilized across many products, allowing our Retail Trade Book program to create a custom, multi-format approach which increased book sales. Launched a new partnership program exclusively with QVC, our EZ-Read Large Print Edition Cookbooks, resulting in increased on-air sales plus return visits to QVC as a brand. Developed our very first print-on-demand cookbook, My Taste of Home Cookbook, placing our brand in direct competition with BuzzFeed’s Tasty cookbook.Increased the sales of our Direct To Consumer book programs on titles like Quick Cooking Annual, Taste of Home Christmas Annual and Holiday & Celebrations Annual through effective content re-branding of our book covers, utilizing a shared services approach to our content development for our interior designs which resulted in asset sharing across titles saving costs on photography, paper and color mark up.

Successfully concepted and developed Taste of Home branded cookbooks for Direct to Consumer, Retail/Trade and Newsstand products. Executed from start to finish over 75 top selling Direct to Consumer and Retail/Trade Taste of Home branded cookbooks resulting in increase of sales percentage.Expanded the Retail/Trade market by customizing cookbooks for Target, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Barnes & Noble, Books Are Fun and Scholastic channels that were non-existent, resulting in a decrease of returned products in stores and an uptick in books sales overall, year over year. Designed covers for some of our featured cookbooks on Good Morning America, The Today Show, In The Kitchen with Dave Venurable on QVC Network and Food and Family Network. Launched a new annual book program targeted to our holiday buyers, the Taste of Home Christmas Annual, which showcased food and entertaining content including craft and decorating ideas. This title became our 3rd best selling annual in it’s first year.

Art directed and concepted packaging designs, trade show graphics, outdoor advertising and business to business collateral pieces for brands like Bath & Body Works Golden Guernsey Dairy, Allen-Edmonds Shoes, Harley Owners Group, Pennzoil and Quaker State Lube, Hotel Metro and Clearly Caring LLC. Designed print and digital collateral pieces, brochures, invitations, newspaper and magazine ads, launch kits, promotional material and logo designs. Worked with Web Designer to design and develop front end web site design and layout and art directed overall look and feel of the site from start to finish. Developed in-store, point of purchase display graphics for clients to drive more sales to their products

Help develop and concept designs and layouts for brands like the Milwaukee Wave Soccer, Nordberg Aggregate, Milorganite Fertilizer, LiphaTech Pest Control, Toyota Industries Corporation and The Golf Foundation of Southeastern Wisconsin. Art directed the Milwaukee Wave Soccer Program Guide from start to finish including ad placement and co-art directing cover photoshoot, after their inaugural Championship winning season, resulting in a re-branding effort or their brand identity. Co-art directed print and digital pieces for promotional materials, advertising and business to business collateral. Concepted numerous marketing, advertising and promotional materials for Nordberg Aggregate, LiphaTech Pest Control. Helped design handmade custom launch kits and pitch pieces to acquire new clients
