Responsibilities: Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists, localization engineers, terminologists, product management and development, internal business partners and external vendors, and other departments. Ensure deliveries meet deadlines, are on a budget, and meet release quality criteria Identify all the internal and external resources whether financial or human resources required to complete the project successfully. Develop project plans and workflows, manage time, budget, resources, and quality control Follow analysis of client-specific localization software application requirements, create and manage internal version of localization project plans, and provide project-specific education and coaching to Localization staff (and sometimes to customers, and their 3rd party suppliers). Create and control localization project budgets, track and control costs, ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices. Analyze project risks, and define/execute mitigation plans as needed. Develop tools and techniques for distributing tasks according to the skills of every team member and also to evaluate the performance of all team members. Identify the root cause of project issues and define/execute corrective/preventative action plans. Assign, monitor, and measure project team members’ work. Manage team’s compliance with standards, practices.
