Serve as first-line of contact for all internal/external issues on accounts related matters.Responsible for one underwriting manager, seven underwriters, and two raters.Coordinate the new and renewal business with the underwriters, gathering and analyzingaccounts information such as the loss history, the mvr’s analysis, the financial report and order the inspection survey. Assist accounting, collections, and claims on various problems and policy issues. Send out the quote letters and BOR's.Prepare the instructions to the raters for the rating and issuance process. Review all works from the raters before submitting to underwriters for final review and signoff.Process the rating, issuance, endorsements and cancellations for the commercial automobile, general liability and umbrella policies (including Massachusetts auto).Due to my extensive insurance and systems rating knowledge, was selected to participate in testing of a potential new rating system “Cover-All.”

Coordinate/control the processing flow, implementing priorities and deadlines.Assist in the handling of the policy audits, claims and accounting issues.Review loss run, financial report, request engineering survey, and analyze the MVR’s. Assume the responsibility for handling the small renewal book, responsible for the run-off on non-productive accounts while attaining to meet/exceed company’s guidelines.Assist in retaining several key accounts while achieving a rate growth of 19% as a team.Receive the ZAPP rewards numerous times for outstanding services.• Work on large accounts processes the rating and coding, booking, endorsements, and cancellations for the Property, General Liability, Automobile, Inland Marine, Crime, Umbrella, and Workers Compensation. Contribute retention by having 100% renewals, new business, endorsements booked and issued prior to or/within 30 days of effective date while effectively managing desk and workload.Assist in the training of new hires as needed for all lines manually and automated, prioritize workload while working effectively to achieve departmental service standards.
