Fullstack Software Engineer specializing in business analytics and process automation, Certified Scrum Master, and DevOps Puppeteer.Currently, I am a Software Engineer with USAA where I work with a high-performing Scrum team where we developed internal business monitoring applications on cutting-edge frameworks and scale midrange server automation. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Computer Science at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Prior to joining my team at USAA, I graduated from Angelo State University. When I joined USAA began work in a Java JBoss EAP framework to produce an application that communicates across the enterprise utilizing Kafka Streaming for real-time business processing. I transitioned to a new pilot project where I gained an opportunity to continue development using the SpringBoot framework to enable data mining operations with a network of MSSQL databases. As our project matured I transitioned once more to building up server security and automation using DevOps tools such as RunDeck and Puppet to restrict access and remove manual tasks. My current project involves serving historical business data for deep analysis using Amazon Web Services technologies and SnowFlake.Prior to my time at USAA I spent evenings as teaching as a Computer Science tutor, and my mornings developing a Python-based agriculture analysis and automation software with Texas A&M Agrillife.
