I supported NRDC's transportation advocacy as a research intern, focusing on intersections between equity, sustainability, and policy. Non-exhaust emissions project:• Prepared a ~30 page report, op-ed, and bibliography detailing the sources, magnitude, and potential impacts of non-exhaust emissions (PM2.5 released by car tires and brakes) • Summarized academic and grey literature on a little-understood but highly dangerous environmental hazard, motivated by EJ partner concerns and advocacy effortsData projects: • Analyzed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law implementation using R • Examined demographic indicators associated with non-driving status in America using USDOT's National Household Travel Survey • Examined public comments on proposed transportation-related climate rulemakings

Team Lead, Member, and former Financial Officer for Stanford DAMS • Led a project visualizing SB-1 grant data for the California Transportation Commission with an interactive webmap• Co-led a project which assessed state legislator voting records on climate-related bills for Climate Cabinet, an environmental advocacy group• Co-taught the pilot quarter of BeginnR, an introductory data analysis and visualization workshop in R which is now completed by all new club members• Helped build an interactive webmap of traffic collision data for the Transportation Authority for Monterey County

4th Avenue Street Improvement Project:• Researched protected bike lane intersection case studies + truck apron design and construction, prepared report on findings to assist in later design of NYC's first corner truck apron• Used AutoCAD to create schematic designs of subway vent extensions and illustrative plans for preliminary design report• Prepared >2,000 page photolog report for NYC DDC using AutoCAD and Adobe InDesign• Prepared report evaluating ADA compliance of pedestrian ramps on project siteNYS Pedestrian Ramp Compliance Effort:• Helped develop pipeline for pedestrian ramp redesigns using Excel and MicroStation
