Hello there, my name is Ethan! I am an IT professional with over 2 years of IT support and administration. I am a Bachelor's degree alumni of Western Governors University. I have experience with the Microsoft cloud suite of administration (Intune, Azure, Defender, Office 365, Windows Autopilot), scripting and automating with PowerShell, some networking/virtualization skills, and technically supporting infrastructure and users in a corporate organization. I am currently studying the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) to grow my networking skillset, and plan to sit the exam in February 2025.My journey so far: Around 2 months into the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to make a career shift from line cook to making a career in IT. I hit the books in 2020 and eventually broke into IT in 2022. While holding my first IT job, I was a full time student. On July 31, 2023, I was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Cloud Computing from Western Governors University. I am still working (and enjoying!) my job with my wonderful coworkers at Granite Data Solutions. I am not afraid of growing responsibilities, nor am I afraid to take new risks, so I take every challenge that comes my way. So far, my IT career has been awesome, and I can't wait to see where it takes me.Personal hobbies: I enjoy playing guitar (picked it up in October 2023...still playing it daily!) and listening to music, I'm a PC enthusiast, and am a big fan of sports, specifically: hockey, football, and baseball.
