As a Marketing Executive, I handle various tasks, including managing internal and mall marketing campaigns. I create promotional materials, coordinate events, and respond to customer inquiries. I also manage cash vouchers and keep track of merchandise. I'm responsible for updating our app and website with the latest information. My role involves working closely with different teams to make sure everything runs smoothly and customers have a great experience.

During my time here, I was responsible for managing the company’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, XiaoHongShu, and WeChat. My duties included copywriting, basic photo editing, and short video editing to ensure the accounts remained active and up to date. Additionally, I promptly responded to customer messages and handled their inquiries efficiently. On top of that, I managed Shopee platform activities, including inventory checks, order preparation, and packaging. Ensured accurate stock levels, efficient order processing, and timely shipments to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

I worked as a primary school tuition teacher, managing classrooms for Standard 2 and 4 students. I provided English and Mandarin tuition to students in Standards 1, 2, and 4. My responsibilities included general teaching duties such as taking attendance, checking homework, and assigning tuition tasks. I also assessed student performance through quizzes and offered one-on-one tutoring when needed.

During my internship at Tesco, I was a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Communications Teams, contributing to impactful projects and internal communication initiatives.In my first week, I joined the team in organizing Business Plan Day 2020 (BPD2020), a critical event summarizing Tesco’s achievements and goals for the coming year. With leaders from all Tesco stores attending, our department aimed to ensure the event ran smoothly. I managed the attendance list and created a grouping list for BPD2020, checked the venue setup, and helped prepare goodie bags for attendees. On the event day, I handled registration at the counter, taking attendance of colleagues from the Head Office and distributing the prepared goodie bags.Additionally, I participated in the Eco Hero Challenge, a campaign promoting the reduction of single-use plastic bags. My role involved encouraging colleagues to participate in filming creative videos to inspire the public, with the most creative submission receiving an award and a feature on Tesco Malaysia’s Facebook page.Outside of event organization, I was responsible for writing stories for TescoKita, Tesco’s internal communication platform that keeps colleagues updated on current issues. I gathered information through online research and face-to-face interviews and assisted with translation tasks, campaign execution, and other related activities to support Tesco’s commitment to CSR.
