Provide and support evaluation training to recent graduates on the Young Impact Associates (YIAs) program. The YIA program is part of the Mastercard Foundationās Young Africa Works (YAW) strategy, which aims to develop a network of highly skilled young African evaluation professionals who will be positioned to drive evaluation practices on the continent of Africa and influence development trajectories in their communities. YIA program offers a robust curriculum of evaluation training, networking activities and mentorship to help YIAs gain real-world skills, tools and experiences needed to amplify impact and lead the next generation of African evaluators. The YIA program activities include a blended training and field practical experiential learning, a mentorship program, boot camps, exchange programs, stand-ups and brown bag meetings, hangouts, connections to useful networks and support to evaluation conferences. These experiences will allow YIAs to gain insights from the wealth of knowledge of experienced facilitators while planning the way they would like to re-apply their new skills, networks, and knowledge after they graduate from the program.
