I am a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my time here I have had the opportunity to utilize SolidWorks to model objects and parts that when fabricated, come together to make an operating machine/object. I have experience fabricating with 3d printing, laser cutters, metal and wood hand tools, and rapid protyping with these methods as well.I am very interested in learning more about all disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, but I am most interested in automotive, medical, space, aviation, and manufacturing applications. I am interested and eager to use my knowledge and skills learned through my past projects, classes, and my last internship experience at Blue Ridge Mountain EMC at another internship experience in any of these felids.

  Acquired knowledge regarding how electricity is supplied to customers throughout 5 counties in northeast Georgia and North Carolina. Visited multiple sites of pole change-outs, power line construction both overhead and underground, substations sites (working, potential, and newly built), and areas where power lines would be upgraded from single phase to 3-phase power. Became familiar with all areas of the EMC's facility including the engineering department, accounting, human resources, management, construction, dispatch, warehouse, pole yard, and truck shop. Assited with computer planning and upkeep of the electrical system in Windmill, Enghouse, and CresentLink, staked and flagged path of future electrical and fiber optic lines in the field, and created fiber splicing assignments for fiber expansions and daily customer jobs. Engaged with other employees, department directors, Georgia and North Carolina Department of Transportation, and customers regularly to best fit every customer's need.
