As the lead full stack quality and automation engineer, I designed test cases for Snapchat AR experiences on iOS, Android, web, and desktop applications. I also built and optimized automation frameworks to run these tests as part of the CI/CD flow for the Snapchat app and the community created AR experiences called lenses.I revolutionized the backend Java service which validates every new Snapchat lens for performance statistics to provide accurate feedback to lens creators and reduced customer support tickets by 30%. I built a fully end-to-end integration test suite to emulate the lens submission pipeline using PyTest. This was able to synchronize CI/CD operations across 3 different teams and prevent regressions. I migrated our 6 year old CI/CD architecture from Jenkins to an in house framework and learned to reimplement docker container builds and deploy with Spinnaker to Kubernetes clusters.I rewrote and updated our Objective C iOS lens tests in Swift to help reduce Snapchat build times by 50%.
